We guide in all major birding regions of the state, from the famous Rio Grande Valley and Upper Texas Coast to the beautiful Hill Country of central Texas and west to Big Bend National Park. We want to get you the best of Texas birds across this enormous and diverse state – Green Jays and Chachalacas to Black-capped Vireos and Colima Warblers.

I recently booked a guide for two days at Big Bend to see the Colima Warbler. I've used many guide services and I have to say that David is easily among the top guides I've ever had. He was timely, professional, knowledgeable, and personable. I had a amazing time and checked off most of the birds I wanted to see (in excess of 100 species). I highly recommend Texas Birding Guides and intend to use them again.

I recently birded Upper Texas Coast, Lower RGV, and Big Bend/Davis Mountains areas with three different guides from TBG. All three guides were great, and I saw so many fantastic birds in all three places. My interest is largely in bird photography, and in each place the guides (Justin, Nolan, and David) were able to find almost all the birds I had targeted and get me in good positions for photos. Most of my targets were challenging birds, so this was no small feat and quite impressive. They were very knowledgable and professional. I highly recommend TBG for a great experience birding in Texas! Thanks for a very enjoyable experience!!
